I was a part of the 2016 PRSSA National Conference Indianapolis planning starting in fall 2015, before the team pitched the PRSSA National Committee to host the conference. Initially I was brought in to help with concept and design pieces for the conference pitch. I designed the conference logo, 50-page bid document, business cards, letterhead and more to create a cohesive brand. Additionally, I designed a conference preview newsletter sent to PRSSA leaders, designed collateral to be passed out during the conference, and managed social media for the conference.
In the months leading up to conference, I created monthly social media content to promote Indianapolis, the conference speakers, sessions and events, and other relevant information. During the five-day conference, I helped live-tweet speakers and monitor the conversation on social media.
